BIOGRAPHY: A true singer, songwriter
and guitar player in his own right, Doug has been professionally impersonating
Alan Jackson since 2004 – captivating audiences throughout the USA and
Canada. Doug captures the look and sound of Country Music Hall Of Fame's
Alan Jackson to create a truly fun and memorable evening. Doug learned
to read, write, and play music at an early age. Instructed on guitar, drums,
trombone, mandolin, and vocals, he started performing professionally as
a teenager, singing and playing guitar in a popular local band until the
age of 35.
In 2000, he formed
his band "Late Nite Rodeo" and performed at many high profile country concerts
and events on the East Coast. While appearing with his band in 2003, a
production manager for the world renowned Las Vegas based review "Legends
In Concert" discovered Doug and his uncanny resemblance to Alan Jackson
and arranged an audition for Doug with the Vegas show.
Soon after, Doug began
performing as Alan for Legends and became a full time tribute artist, singing
and playing at their theaters in Las Vegas, Branson, Myrtle Beach, Atlantic
City and other locations as well. Often performing two shows a day, six
days a week with the show, Doug has entertained thousands of people and
garnered rave reviews from theater critics and social media websites.
In 2013, Doug and his
friend Larry Turner (a George Strait tribute artist), joined forces to
create a tribute to Brooks & Dunn. Doug plays the role of Ronnie Dunn
in these high energy musical shows .
Doug performs in his
own production, “MegaStars of Country,” and continues to perform for “Legends
In Concert” as well as with his Late Nite Rodeo band. His album of original
